AquaWall®

AquaWall is a lighter version of a prefabricated sluice solution, compared to our well-known AquaBlokk, which has a base and two side plates.

AquaWall is a concrete wall on which various sluice solutions can be mounted. See the attached schematic diagrams.

AquaWall is distinguished by being a lighter construction than AquaBlokk, meaning that it will often weigh 50-60% less compared to the same type of AquaBlokk.

AquaWall is typically mounted between two H beams that are plugged. Applicable to all WINTEC prefabricated sluices is that you just have to come up with the right sluice type for the existing conditions and come up with the desired height and width in relation to securing to the right elevations. The client then only needs help with the geotechnical, i.e. placement of the sluice downwards and outwards towards the two banks in collaboration with a consultant and contractor

WINTEC prefabricated sluices usually are delivered assembled and tested from the factory. This reduces site handling as there is no in situ casting of the sluice at the construction site. Please note that there are many different types of sluice solutions/options. Have a look at the WINTEC pictograms explaining this and choose the right solution to achieve secure operation well into the future.

AquaWall® sluice types

A sluice is not just a sluice…

WINTEC has standardised sluice construction and branded it under the name AquaBlokk, which now can be found in a lighter vesion, AquaWAll . The systems are delivered in prefabricated concrete structures. We have tried to visualise the many sluice solutions and types using pictograms.

Please note that references are mainly AquaBlokk, however principles and functions can be applied to AquaWall
